Israel Ministry of Communication approvals required for import of all products with HS code starting with 84 71 or 85 17.
Product that does not have any telecom function (has no wireless interface and not connected to wired network), requires Communication approval from MOC Engineering Department. It is granted for 1 year, and requires submittal of MOC forms signed by importer, and data sheet.
Product with Wireless interface requires Type Approval from MOC Spectrum Department. It is normally granted for 5 years, and requires submittal of MOC forms signed by importer, data sheet and test reports (Radio, EMC and Safety).
Product with wired interfaces requires Type Approval from MOC Engineering Department. It is normally granted for 5 years, and requires submittal of MOC forms signed by importer, data sheet and test reports (Telecom, EMC and Safety).
